Battery Disposal Instructions

In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following:

As the end user, you are legally obligated to return used batteries. You can return old batteries that we carry or have carried in our range as new batteries free of charge to our shipping warehouse (HDTRONIC EDV-Service GmbH, Alte Rennkoppel 12, 21279 Hollenstedt).

The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:

  • The symbol of the crossed-out dustbin means that the battery must not be disposed of in the household waste.
  • Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004 mass percent lead
  • Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium
  • Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005 mass percent mercury

Special Provisions for Businesses (B2B):
Since our offer is exclusively directed at entrepreneurs as defined by § 14 BGB (German Civil Code), the disposal of industrial waste batteries (B2B batteries) purchased from us shall be carried out in accordance with individual contractual agreements or our General Terms and Conditions (GTC).
