TDA080-LR – Heavy-Duty Tape Dispenser with Integrated Liner Remover by START International: Fully Automatic. Clean. Process-Safe.

Aluminium tapes, double-sided adhesive tapes, and other lined materials share a common process obstacle: the inner liner must be manually removed before the tape can be applied. In high-volume production, this means interruptions, liner waste on the work surface, and an additional manual step per piece — repeated thousands of times daily. START International developed the TDA080-LR to completely eliminate this step: the integrated automatic liner remover strips the liner during tape feed and winds it cleanly onto a separate take-up hub — fully automatically, without any operator intervention.

Liner Removal Technology — Fully Integrated into the Dispensing Process

The liner removal unit of the TDA080-LR operates synchronously with the tape feed: as the tape is advanced to the programmed length, the liner remover grips the inner liner and continuously winds it up. The exposed tape is cut directly to length — ready for application. Max. liner outer diameter: 140 mm (5.5"), take-up hub: 46 mm (1.8").
