In display manufacturing, automotive surface protection, and electronics production, an invisible pressure mark on a protective film is already a quality defect. Standard dispensers with conventional advancement rollers create exactly these marks — a risk that modern high-precision production cannot afford. START International developed the ZCM1000NM with purpose-engineered non-marking advancement rollers that feed material with sufficient grip for reliable dispensing, while producing absolutely zero surface impressions, scratches, or marks.
Non-Marking – Surface Integrity as a System Requirement
The non-marking advancement rollers of the ZCM1000NM are the result of targeted material engineering. They deliver the grip needed for consistent, slip-free tape advancement while exerting no damaging pressure on sensitive film surfaces. Whether processing transparent protective films, polyethylene surface tapes, or metallic foil adhesives — the ZCM1000NM ensures that the material arrives at the point of application in exactly the condition it left the roll: unmarked and undamaged.
Fully Automated Dispensing – Reliable Batch After Batch
The integrated photocell control detects the removal of each dispensed piece and immediately initiates the feed of the next — fully automatically, without operator intervention. For applications requiring manual control, the push-button trigger is available at any time. The target cut length is programmed once via the digital LED panel, stored permanently, and reproduced with a tolerance of ±1 mm across the full cut range of 20 to 999 mm. The guillotine cutting mechanism delivers clean, straight edges — even on thin and smooth film materials.
