At modern assembly and manufacturing workstations, the simultaneous need for two adhesive tapes is not the exception — it is the standard. Operating two separate dispenser units means double the floor space, double the capital investment, and increased coordination effort for the operator. START International engineered the ZCM1000E to resolve this efficiently: with a dual cutting head and two synchronised photocells, a single unit dispenses two tape rolls simultaneously — precisely, automatically, and in perfect sync.
Dual Photocell Synchronisation – The Defining Difference
Each of the two integrated photocells monitors its own output area independently. The next feed and cut cycle is triggered only once both previously dispensed tape pieces have been removed by the operator. This intelligent synchronisation prevents one roll from running ahead of the other — both tapes are always available simultaneously in the exact programmed length. The result: zero timing errors, zero misfeeds, measurably higher throughput.
Two Rolls – Half the Footprint, Double the Output
The ZCM1000E replaces two separate dispenser units on a single workstation. The cut length is set once on the digital LED panel and applies to both rolls simultaneously. Cut range: 20 to 999 mm at ±1 mm accuracy. Tape widths from 7 to 51 mm are processed per roll. The included 3-in-1 core holder (25 / 35 / 76 mm) enables tool-free roll changes in seconds.
