Cloth, PET cloth and fleece tapes
Textile tapes for wire harness and assembly
Cloth and fleece tapes bundle cables in vehicles, dampen rattling and protect against abrasion. They are thicker than film tapes and, depending on type, have a strong adhesive. For harness makers, automatic cutting to length saves a lot of time.
The challenge
- The strong adhesive contaminates rollers and blade over time.
- Textile carriers only separate without fraying with a sharp, well-guided blade.
- At high volumes at the wrapping station the next piece must be ready at once.
How the dispenser solves it
For cloth, PET cloth and fleece tapes with strong adhesive, START names the TDA080-NS and TDA150-NS. Soft cloth up to 51 mm is handled by the ZCM1000C, standard cloth tapes also by the TDA080.
