Surface protection films
Smooth PE and PET films that must not get marks
Protective films cover displays, stainless steel, painted and anodised parts until final assembly. The film is thin and glossy, the adhesive only light. Every mark from a feed roller remains visible and may count as a defect at the customer.
The challenge
- Knurled or toothed standard rollers press patterns or grooves into the film.
- The film is so thin that it builds up static and clings to blade and housing.
- The light adhesive loses grip when contaminated, so the pieces must not be touched or creased.
How the dispenser solves it
The NM versions feed the film over flat, coated rollers without marks. The ZCM1000NM covers widths up to 51 mm, the TDA080-NM up to 80 mm and the TDA150-NM up to 150 mm, with lengths up to 999 or 9,999 mm.
