Narrow tapes from 3 mm
Narrow insulation, copper and polyimide strips
Below about 7 mm width, normal feed rollers no longer grip reliably. Narrow strips are still needed often: to fix wires, as copper strips or for masking. By hand they are hard to cut to an exact length.
The challenge
- Normal feed rollers are wider than the tape and do not guide it securely.
- Narrow strips twist easily or slip out of the guide.
- Small pieces are hard to pick when several people work at once.
How the dispenser solves it
The ZCM1000B has its own feed roller for tapes from 3 to 25 mm. The TDA025B places narrow, short pieces from 15 to 70 mm on a rotating carousel from which several people can pick at the same time.
