Tubing, ribbon and cord without adhesive
Besides tape, the TDA060 also cuts non-adhesive materials such as tubing, ribbons and cords to length. For larger volumes, wider materials or hot cutting, the START material cutters are the right choice.
The challenge
- Without adhesive there is no grip on the feed rollers; the material must be held securely.
- Round cross-sections such as tubing need a suitable guide.
- Textiles fray when cut cold.
How the dispenser solves it
For occasional cuts up to 60 mm wide the TDA060 is sufficient. For heat-shrink tubing, webbing, hook-and-loop and sleeving in series production there are the ZCM and TBC material cutters, with hot knife also for materials that fray.
